JAMMIN' - Fund raiser for Gold Beach High School August 14th 2010 ALL AMERICAN DERBY - Southern Oregon University "Wrestling Team" Sept 11th 2010 This derby will raise funds for the wrestling team..they will also contribute some to the G.B.H.S. wrestling team as well as hold a Clinic for the local wrestlers... INDIAN CREEK FISH HATCHERY DERBY Sept.18 2010... Funds raised will go to the hatchery . "DeAngelo DERBY" at LEX'S LANDING July 1st thru Oct. 31st 2010 Rules : Fish must be a Rogue River Bay Fish Fish MUST be brought in , Weighed and Skinned at Lex's Landing. SALMON MUST WEIGH 35 POUNDS TO ENTER. Fish must be caught by Licensed Angler and be a Legal Catch. Fish must be Entered by Angler who Caught the Fish. All final decisions on legality or discrepancy will be made by Larry or Paul. Any Angler found Cheating or Pooling Salmon , ALL fish entered by that Angler will be disqualified. No refunds once Salmon is Skinned and entered. Disqualified Salmon / Skins and Non winning skins not wanting to be mounted become the property of Paul DeAngelo. Terms: $15- entry Fee for each fish. Angler must provide Valid License/Tag number. Notification of Winners will be Nov. 1st. 2010 Prizes: Largest weighed Salmon wins a FREE Skin mount by Paul DeAngelo. (No point System unless a TIE) Should there be a TIE on Largest fish, we will add point system to finalize. Second prize will be based on a point system. One point per pound. Angler can enter as many as His/Her Tag allows. Most Points gets FREE mount by Paul DeAngelo. Point System Salmon can NOT include Largest winning fish. Same person can NOT win both mounts. Extras: Any Salmon entered in another Derby held at Lex's Landing can also be entered in the DeAngelo Derby. Salmon entered from the other 3 Derby's, Held at Lex's Landing, will cost only $10- to enter DeAngelo Derby. Salmon entered into DeAngelo Derby from the other 3 Derby's qualify for a 5 point bonus towards point system. Any Salmon entered into DeAngelo Derby that does NOT win one of the prizes will qualify for a 10% discount if Angler chooses to have mounted. Angler must notify Paul DeAngelo prior to Dec.31st 2010 and place deposit on Mount.

Deer, Elk, Bear, Wild Turkeys, and Osprey flank the shores of the river; meanwhile, in the water it's not unusual to see an otter swimming past your boat.
